Strong pitch helps Fargo Post 400 clinch victory at Central Plains Regional Legion tournament
SIOUX FALLS, SD – The Post 400 Stars got strong pitching performances from Kobe Senn and Jake Jaroszewski to help fuel a 1-0 win over Hopkins (Minn.) In the opening round of the Central Plains Regional Legion Baseball Tournament Wednesday at Sioux Falls Stadium.
Senn took the win, pitching 4 1/3 innings and allowing four hits with two walks. He also finished with two hits, a high for the team. Jaroszewski made the save, going the last 2 2/3 innings without hits or walks.
Colten Alme of Post 400 led Easton Rerick for the only race of the match.
Post 400 advanced to face the winner of La Crosse (Wis.) And Sioux Falls Post 15 East at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
